RSLSteeper Win ‘Sharing Best Practice’ Award
We are delighted to announce that RSLSteeper have won the Lean Healthcare Academy Sharing Best Practice Award 2012.
The conference and awards event is both a forum to share best practice and reward members from the healthcare sector for adopting and sustaining lean working principles. The aim is to encourage the delivery of care in the most efficient way whilst retaining quality of service. This award category aims to recognise those who have proactively shared good outcomes across work areas or organisations and can demonstrate successful adoption and implementation leading to enhanced results.
Narrowed down from hundreds of entries, RSLSteeper were the only private provider shortlisted in the final three and was commented as being a ‘judge’s favourite’.
Winning this award represents the hard work done by our teams in prosthetics where, working in collaboration with our NHS partners, we strive towards the best possible practice. The award entry focused on work to improve prescription practices, leading to use of more durable prosthetic limb systems, backed up by our Best Practice Guidelines and Clinical Evaluations. The combined savings in both costs and time have been used to increase our service to users within our core aim of improving people’s lives.
